The Municipal Council of The Corporation of Delta will hold a PUBLIC HEARING regarding the matters listed below:
Date: Thursday, June 16, 2005
Time: 7:00 pm
Place: North Delta Recreation Centre, 11415 - 84 Avenue, Delta BC
A Special Council meeting is scheduled to immediately follow this Public Hearing in the event Council wishes to give further consideration to this application.
All persons who believe their interest in property is affected by the proposed bylaws will be afforded an opportunity to be heard or to present written submissions regarding matters contained in the proposed bylaws.
All bylaws and other documents that may be considered by Council can be inspected at the Community Planning and Development Department at Delta Municipal Hall as follows:

Purpose: Bylaw No. 6387
To amend “The Corporation of Delta Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 3950, 1985” by amending the designation of the Delsom Estates properties to allow a medium density residential community with a village commercial centre.
Bylaw No. 6388
To amend the Delta Zoning Bylaw by rezoning the Delsom Estates properties to a CD Zone to permit the land to be used for single family dwellings, townhouses, seniors' accommodation, commercial purposes, a private recreation amenity building and public parks and pathways.
LU04216 - Development Variance Permit
To vary the Delta Zoning Bylaw by waiving special setback requirements from the centre line of 84 Avenue and Dunlop Road.
